To add a Samsung account to your new device, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen up.
2. Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
3. Tap "Samsung account."
4. To sign in to an existing account, enter your account email address or phone number. Otherwise, tap "Create account" and follow the on-screen instructions.
5. Tap "Sign in."
6. Review the terms and conditions as needed, then tap "Next."
7. Your account information will be displayed. If necessary, tap the information you would like to update and make your changes. Otherwise, you're all set.

To turn your phone into a mobile Wi-Fiwifi® hotspot, follow these steps:

1. If Wi-Fiwifi is enabled on your phone, turn it off by sliding the status bar down from the main screen. Slide it down again to see more options.
2. Tap the "Wi-Fiwifi" icon to turn Wi-Fiwifi "Off."
3. Locate and tap the "Mobile Hotspot" icon to turn your Mobile Hotspot ON.

Directions on connecting other devices to your hotspot will display on your screen, including the network name and password. You will now be able to connect your devices to this network just as you would any Wi-Fiwifi network.

To change the network name or password from the main screen, follow these steps:

1. Slide the screen up to display your apps.
2. Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
3. Tap "Connections."
4. Tap "Mobile Hotspot and Tethering."
5. Tap "Mobile Hotspot."
   • Note: If necessary, tap "Configure."
6. Tap the appropriate text field and enter the desired network name or password.
7. Tap "Save."

Google's "Find My Device" feature is automatically enabled when you sign in to your Google (Gmail) account on your phone.

To use "Find My Device" for a lost or stolen phone, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, slide the screen up.
2. Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
3. Locate and tap "Google."
4. Tap "Find My Device."
   • If necessary, tap the slider to enable "Use Find My Device."
5. Tap the desired option to locate your phone, then follow the prompts on your screen.

The Samsung DeX software comes pre-installed on most Galaxy devices and when you plug your phone into an external display via an HDMI adapter or wirelessly via Bluetooth. Turn Samsung DeX ON:

1. Locate and tap "Settings."
2. Tap "Connected devices."
3. Tap "Samsung DeX."
4. Tap the next to "Auto start when HDMI is connected" to turn it ON.

Wirelessly connect to a TV, Monitor, or PC:

1. Swipe down from your home screen, and tap the "DeX" icon.
2. Tap the device you wish to connect to.
   
3. Tap "Start now."
4. On your device, accept the connection request and follow the prompts on your screen.

Use my phone as a touchpad:

To use your phone as a trackpad or virtual keyboard while in the Samsung DeX environment, follow the steps below: 

1. Locate and tap "Settings."
2. Tap "Connected devices."
3. Tap "Samsung DeX."
4. Tap "Mouse and trackpad" and if necessary tap "Flow pointer to phone screen."

To explore new methods for capturing photos, follow these steps:

1. From the main screen, tap the "Camera" icon.
2. Tap the "Settings" icon.
3. Locate and tap "Shooting methods." Then, tap the method you would like to try.

The available shooting methods on your phone include the following:

• Press Volume keys: Allows you to control selected functions using the Volume keys when the Camera app is open.
  
• Floating Shutter button: Places a second "Capture" icon on your screen in any location.
• Show palm: Enables your phone to automatically capture an image when your palm is facing the camera lens.
• Voice commands: Take pictures by saying certain key words.
